The Volai Castle is the only defensive fortification in Raseiniai district. Its’ exceptional feature is its’ location, which is the plain field with no other natural obstacles. It is assumed that there used to be the fortification of the Swedes during the Great Northern War. Located not far from the village of Biliunai, visible from the highway Kaunas – Klaipeda.
