The Vedeckas Oak Wood

One of the most important places in connection to the Partisan War in Raseiniai district. The memorial was built to commemorate the late freedom fighters of the Virtukai battle and others, buried in this oak wood. The cross was erected here in 1995. The crosses, carved by the relatives of the killed fighters, are still visible on the bark of the 100-year-old trees.
