The Museum of poet Jonas Mačiulis-Maironis

The museum is set in the sister’s house at the place of the former parents’ homestead. The original old garden and the icehouse remained, while the barn together with the granary have been rebuilt. The exposition also includes the authentic belongings of the family of Maironis. The Raseiniai Region History Museum carried out the project of adaptation of the Pasandravys historical reserve for cultural and educational needs. The art installation “Maironis Parents’ House” is located in Bernotai. A space-melting visualization reproducing the building has been created, as well as an installation “The Singing Bench”.
