The Complex of the Molavėnai and Graužai Hillforts

It is a complex of united defensive mounds, exceptional in its size and complex engineering solutions. The hillforts entwined with legends and stories have survived in perfect condition till these days. It is believed that the prominent castle of Pilėnai stood here in 1336. The Statehood Day is annually held here on the 6th July to commemorate the coronation of Mindaugas as the King of Lithuania. The Old Oak of Molavėnai and the Skirtinas Stone also enter the complex.
