Blinstrubiškis Forest Biosphere Polygon was established in 2005 to protect the ecosystem of the forest. In order to preserve the population of the sea eagle, artificial nests were installed. It is one of the largest forests in the Raseiniai district, exceptional by the abundance of biodiversity. The Blinstrubiškis forest is abundant with rare species of plants and mushrooms.
