The Ariogala Valley of Songs

The town of Ariogala may be proud of the beautiful place, set up in the valley of the river Dubysa. Not only regional but also republic events take place here. One of the most meaningful events is the traditional congress “The Fire of Freedom for the Future Generations”. The partisans, former political prisoners, exiles and other participants of the Lithuanian Wars of Independence gather here every summer. The path towards the valley is marked with sculptures by a folk artist J. Grabauskas.
